Hospital of St Cross & Almshouse of Noble Poverty

The Hospital of St Cross & Almshouse of Noble Poverty (“England’s Oldest Almshouse”) has vacancies for Brothers.

The Hospital, founded in 1132 and home to 25 retired laymen (Brothers), currently has vacancies and applications are welcomed.

A registered Charity with a Christian foundation, the Hospital is situated a mile south of Winchester.

Each Brother lives independently and occupies a flat which he furnishes himself.
